Apollo is a widely-respected magazine on the fine and decorative arts. Founded in 1925 and based in London, it features a mixture of exhibition reviews, art-world news, profiles of major collectors, and scholarly articles by prominent museum curators and academics. Recent collaborative editions have included special issues in partnership with The J. Paul Getty Museum and The Yale Center for British Art. Apollo is owned by the Barclay brothers through the Press Holdings company. Its editor is Michael Hall, and contributors include Martin Gayford, Gavin Stamp and Alan Powers.
