Christian Adolph Klotz 

Christian Adolph Klotz (13 November 173831 December 1771) was a German philologist.

The son of a senior church official, Klotz attended the universities of Lepzig and Jena. In 1763 he obtained the position of professor from Göttingen, and in 1765 moved to Halle, where he served as Professor für Philosophie und Beredsamkeit (Professor of Philosophy and Eloquance).
