Michael Felger 

Michael Felger was the Boston Herald's New England Patriots' beat columnist, a position he held from 1999 to 2008. He joined the paper in 1989, and was the lead reporter for the Bruins from 1997 - 1999. He also hosted a talk radio show from 3-6pm on weekdays on ESPN Radio's Boston affiliate, WAMG called The Mike Felger Show. The show ran from 2005 to 2008. Prior to hosting this show, Felger was a regular host on rival Boston sports radio station, WEEI. Mike also makes regular appearances on WBZ television's Patriots pre- and post-game shows, as well as doing work for Comcast SportsNet New England. Felger is a three time ball hound award winner ('05-'07) and will be competing with Howard Bryant in '08 for the Lifetime Achievement Award of Ball Hounding.

In July of 2008, Felger took up a position to cover the Patriots for the recently re-vamped, WEEI.com. Felger has also returned to the WEEI airwaves, serving as a fill-in host for Dennis and Callahan, as well as Dale and Holley.

Originally from Wisconsin,1 Felger is a graduate of Boston University. He lives in Boston with his wife, Fox 25 television anchorwoman Sara Underwood, and their daughter.
