Samsudin Osman |
Tan Sri Dato' Sri Samsudin Osman (born 1947 in Johor Bahru) was a dedicated Malaysian senior civil servant, serving the Malaysian Government from 1969 to 2006. His last post with the Malaysian Government was the Chief Secretary to the Government under the Prime Minister's Office from 1 Feb 2001 to 2 Sept 2006. The Chief Secretary to the Government is the highest ranking civil servant in the country. He was Secretary General for 2 Ministries, the Ministry of Home Affairs (1996) and the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (1994).
He is currently the President of Putrajaya Corporation and the Chairman of Malaysia Employees Provident Fund (EPF).
He has a B.A. (Hons) from University Malaya and M.P.A from Pennsylvania State University. He is also a former student of the renowned Royal Military College, Sungai Besi.
