San Giovanni la Punta (San Giuvanni la Punta in Sicilian) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 160 km southeast of Palermo and about 8 km northeast of Catania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 20,385 and an area of 10.6 km².1
