Solution selling is a special approach to sales. Rather than just pushing an existing product the salesperson focuses on the customer's pain(s) and addresses these in his or her solution to these problems. The goal is to present a "no-brainer" decision, whereby the sales person offers a solution to a "pain" or problem admitted to and preferably quantified by the customer.
