Two ships in the United States Navy have borne the name USS Wampanoag, for the Wampanoag tribe:

• The first USS Wampanoag was a screw frigate in commission in 1867 to 1868 which was later renamed USS Florida.

• The second USS Wampanoag (ATA-202) was the auxiliary ocean tug USS ATA-202 in commission from 1944 to 1947, renamed USS Wampanoag (ATA-202) in 1948 while in reserve, which in 1959 went into United States Coast Guard service as medium endurance cutter Comanche (WMEC-202).
